In this post, which will be short and sweet, I want to address getting paid.Now, isn’t that why we are network, and or,. affiliate marketers.

Let me start out by saying that I have nothing against traditional network marketing companies.

There are many good companies and products, some of which, I use, or, use to use.

The problem is that you can most always find a comparable product already on the retail market that is as good as the product in the network marketing company and for much less money. Naturally when you purchase the product on the retail market, you will not earn a commission. So, the question would be, is the cost of doing business with the network marketing company worth it.

That is a question that only you can answer. Yes, I can hear some of you saying now, sure,it is worth it,and there is a lot of money to be made in network marketing. I agree that there is, if you are at the TOP!

I do remember reading somewhere, whether it’s a fact or not, I don’t know, but I read that “at any given time only five percent of the reps will be at the top in their network marketing company” , so, where does that leave the majority of the reps. I will tell you where, it leaves them with broken dreams and in debt.

Here is the problem – Most network marketing companies cost money to get into. Costs like $500 to get in, some more, some less. Then, if you want to qualify to earn commissions you have to purchase the product. Well, it already cost you to get in and now you can’t make any money without buying something. You also have to pay for your replicated website.

So let’s move on. Traditional network marketing company reps make their money by Recruiting someone into the business and then earn on the autoships of their downline, plus bonuses etc, etc,. That is where the money is generated in order to be able to pay out commissions. It is tradional network marketing and again, there is nothing wrong with that.

All network marketers already know what I am talking about and I welcome their comments on this post. I hope that those who are considering our industry benefit from this post. All I am saying is for them to be careful and don’t go into a company thinking that it is easy. It’s not easy , but it very well can be worth it, if you find the right company,sponsor and Team.

You may want to look into Referral Marketing where there is no fee to sign up,become a customer or affiliate,get your replicated website and your back office.

I read a news article on Yahoo News “Sell Gold -Buy Silver”. This naturally gave me concern, because I do buy Silver and I am just now getting ready to purchase Gold. The author of the article is the well know author  Robert Kiyosaki, therefore, as I said bringing me much concern.

I am brand new when it comes to purchasing Gold, but my thoughts after reading the article were ” I suppose it depends on what level you are, purchasing big or small weights, and the reason for the purchase. I believe that the purchase of Gold and Silver  is still a smart decision as a hedge against inflation.  I was introduced to gold by Donna Meyer, a fellow marketer and I am very glad that she shared this opportunity with me. The company I speak of is KB Edelmetall and they have made it affordable for almost anyone to secure the yellow metal asset.  You can 999.9 Gold Bullion,which is 24 kt gold in as little as 1/2 gram bars and that is one of the reasons I was attracted to the company. Naturally, I agree with Lloyd, but to claify what we do at KB Gold is that we Do Not Spend Money – We exchange fiat currency (paper money) for Gold and/or Silver Bullion in small weights from 1/2 gram up to 5 grams. This makes it affordable for the average person and more transaction friendly.

Working Through The Pain?

Working through the Pain.. Hmm.. what does that mean. When I first heard that, I said to myself “what the heck is this guy talking about. I want to stay away from Pain” . I believe that is what most folks would think. I don’t know anyone who enjoys pain. Well, let me tell you that the man who I heard that from is James A. Smith.

James A. Smith is the founder of a company called, I Was Born To Win, and I am so glad that I accepted the invitation by Numis to attend this seminar. Actually it was a two part seminar. The first part was a sales training with Mr. Bryan Flanagan of Flanagan Training Group. Bryan is a student of Zig Ziglar and Bryan’s training was very informative.

Although I did enjoy Bryan’s training, the highlight of the event was Mr. James A. Smith.. Man, he blew me away with his presentation. I connected with him and I felt like I was the only one in the room and he was talking directly to me. So, lets get back to working through the pain. You see, if we are in a difficult time in our lives, no matter what the situation may be, we stay where we are according to James, in the conscious pain, because we are afraid of the unconscious pain. In other we know the pain we are in but we don’t know if there will be pain to come if we change our situation and move on, so, we stay where we are, in the pain that we know. Here is a quote from Jame’s book titled I Was Born To Win… “ Pain for the proper purpose is productive” Wow, now here we go again.. What the heck, does that mean. As I said before we all tend to avoid pain. I believe that what James is saying is that on the road of life we have to go through the pain in order to get to where, we will no longer experience that pain.

James had a white board up at the front of the room and he drew a road (this would be the road of life that we  are all on) and he put a toll booth on that road. You see, when we are out in the real world driving down the road and come to a toll, if we want to continue we must pay that toll. If we are not willing to pay that toll, then, we must take a detour. So, if we decide to not pay and take the detour, then we will move on down the road until we come to the next toll. If we decide to take the detour again and again, we will find ourselves going around in circles and winding up right back where we are,which is, in the pain The pain which we never left, because we don’t want to pay the price of working through the pain.

I Was Born To Win was created by James as a result of his own pain and life experience’s of many difficulties and addictions. He managed to work through the pain, pull himself up out of the nightmare and change his life, as well as the lives of other’s.

We all experience pain in our lives. Some more than others. So, in conclusion I would like to thank James and say “ Don’t take the detour’s anymore, work through the pain and change your life. Life is too short, don’t stay in the Pain”
